St. Paul's Episcopal Church Sacramento is built on the unceded land of the Miwok and Nisenan peoples.
We acknowledge these communities, their elders both past and present, as well as future generations. St. Paul's Sacramento also acknowledges that it was founded upon exclusions and erasures of many Indigenous peoples, including those on whose land this church was founded. With God's help, we commit ourselves to acknowledging the truth of California's history, as well as strengthening existing relationships and improving our efforts to build collaborative relationships with Native peoples.
